Established in 1993, the Granary is a rural cultural center set on 2.3 acres (0.9 ha) of fields near the James River. The Granary Memorial Gallery is situated in an altered 1928 grain storage building and displays the work of various artists that celebrate the Northern Plains, and a permanent outdoor sculpture collection adorns the Granary landscape. Bede Art Gallery Located on the Mount Marty College campus, the Bede Art Gallery provides a space for professional artists in the region to exhibit their work. Located in the Washington Pavilion Arts and Science Center, the Visual Arts Center was formerly called Civic Fine Arts. The center features six galleries of changing exhibits including works by Native American Artists, regional and national contemporary visual arts exhibitions and the Junior League Children's Studio.
