Established in 1993, the Granary is a rural cultural center set on 2.3 acres (0.9 ha) of fields near the James River. The Granary Memorial Gallery is situated in an altered 1928 grain storage building and displays the work of various artists that celebrate the Northern Plains, and a permanent outdoor sculpture collection adorns the Granary landscape. The historic Putney Township Hall has also been relocated to the site and plays host to workshops, seminars and performances.

Bede Art Gallery
Located on the Mount Marty College campus, the Bede Art Gallery provides a space for professional artists in the region to exhibit their work. Exhibitions change monthly and the gallery also features a student art show each semester. Opening hours are 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday.

Located in the heart of downtown Watertown, this historic Opera House was one of three extravagant entertainment venues in the city, host to spectacular theatrical events in the late 1880s. Currently, visitors can enjoy quality art exhibitions in the Goss Opera House Gallery.

Located in the Washington Pavilion Arts and Science Center, the Visual Arts Center was formerly called Civic Fine Arts. The center features six galleries of changing exhibits including works by Native American Artists, regional and national contemporary visual arts exhibitions and the Junior League Children's Studio. A gift shop is located on the second floor. Admission to the center is free.
