The Mitchell Prehistoric Museum is dedicated to preserving one of the first settlements in this area dating back to the 10th Century. The area has remained relatively untouched and is rich with artifacts. The Archedome, located on site, is a research and technological center, which gives archeologists unlimited access to the park.
