House of Mary Shrine A reminder of the life and death of Jesus Christ, the House of Mary Shrine came into existence in 1957, created by a Catholic couple who bought this piece of land on the lake. Comprised of three large crosses overlooking the lake, statues, shrines, a bell tower and other monuments, the House of Mary Shrine is a peaceful place for reflection.
